Vertical Mill imparts a relatively high energy density as compared to ball mills, attrition mills, and other classic vertical grinding systems with Hindu Engineers. These types of mills use the most advanced grinding media separation system at both the discharge end and inlet sides of the mill to separate the grinding media from the slurry/product. The grinding media is added during the grinding process through a system that feeds the media.

Vertical Mills are suitable for Dyes, Pigments, Surface Coatings, Pesticides, Paper, and grinding highly viscous materials such as Latex, etc. A recirculation pump is provided for discharging the end product from the grinding chamber. This aids in accelerated and uniform attrition activity.

The material passes through the grinding chamber multiple times until the desired particle size is obtained A gear tilting assembly facilitates easy removal of agitator shaft for cleaning. The Attritor is filled with media and the grids restrain the media while the slurry is allowed to pass through. Attritors are made of Stainless Steel vessels either in S. S-304 or S. S-316L or M. S construction with an M. S jacket for cooling the temperature of the material to be processed within the machine. All the ingredients are dosed into the machine and with the grinding media either ceramic beads or steel balls then, the machine is allowed to mix and grind the product and in a certain time, the desired particle size is achieved.

A ball valve fitted at the bottom discharges the batch on time. The machine has an extra facility to speedily discharge the material with a tilting type system, no un-grinded pigment gets deposited in the vessel. The shaft RPM of this series ranges from 600 to 1400. Dry grinding Attritors provide fast, efficient grinding, resulting in extremely fine material measured in microns. 1 to 3 mm Beads can be used and Different Disc designs are also available.
