HIGH SHEAR HOMOGENIZERs

Hindu Engineers specialize in the manufacturing and application of High Shear Homogenizers. These Industrial Homogenizers/mixers are highly efficient in reducing the mixing time delivering a wide range of products when compared conventionally. A High Shear Homogenizes uses a rotating impeller or high-speed rotor, or a series of such impellers to “work” the fluid, creating flow and shear. The tip velocity, or speed of the fluid at the outside diameter of the rotor, will be higher than the velocity at the centre of the rotor, and it is this velocity difference that creates shear. A high-shear powder / liquid mixer generally disperses, one phase (liquid, solid, gas) into a main continuous phase (liquid), into which it is normally immiscible. A rotor or impeller, together with a stationary component known as a stator, or an array of rotors and stators, is used in a tank containing the solution to be mixed, to create shear. A High Shear Homogenizers can be used to create emulsions, suspensions, and granular products.

In Hindu we have mixers with specially designed work head, which help to disintegrate, dissolve and homogenize to obtain uniform product. Our design in Hindu is ideal for:

The high-speed rotation of the rotor is responsible for exerting a powerful suction which aids in drawing the two-phase materials (liquid and solid) upward into the work head. The material experiences a centrifugal force that drives them towards the periphery of the work head. Here they are rapidly mixed followed by an intensive hydraulic shear. A circulatory mixing ensures no turbulence thereby reducing the chances of surface aeration.

High Shear Homogenizer|Homogenizer Mixer-Hindu Engineers

Hindu Engineer’s high-speed disperser has solved the difficulty of conventional oil water mixers. They produce an almost instantaneous stable emulsion. They have also solved the challenge of dispersion of gums and thickening agents which generally tend to form agglomerates in the case of conventional methods.

HINDU ENGINEERS MANUFACTURE THREE TYPES OF HIGH SHEAR HOMOGENIZERS

INLINE HOMOGENIZER

BATCH HOMOGENIZERS

BOTTOM MOUNTED HOMOGENIZERS

HIGH SPEED FOUR STAGE INLINE HOMOGENIZER

The Bottom Drive Homogenizers is a High shear homogenizer mounted at the bottom to disperse immiscible liquids. This mixer helps to prepare homogeneous slurries and powder dissolution in liquids for the complete batch. The major application of bottom homogenizer is emulsification, blending, dissolution of solids into the liquids as desired by the application. It has its wide range of applications in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries.

High viscous materials which conventionally do not mix easily, is no more a challenge for Hindu’s In-Tank Homogenizer. It ensures emulsification, homogenization, disintegration, solubilization, dispersion, and suspension. The centrifugal force generated ensures a highly efficient droplet size distribution and evenly dissolved solids. They have their application in high-speed production of industries, namely: lube oil, adhesives, paper, wine manufacturing, insecticides, etc.

The Enclosed Shaft Homogenizer ensures abridged clean up time and cost in a way reducing the production cost and increasing capacities.

The Single-Stage Inline Homogenizer ensures a tip speed of up to 95 m/s. They can be used in a single pass or a recirculating batch. The Four Stages Inline Homogenizer also ensure a high tip speed with over twenty different rotor stator designs to choose from. They can also be force-fed with a very high viscous fluid.

The action of these machines can be modified depending upon the type of product required. The self pumping and aeration free design make it impossible for any material to bypass their work head without being subjected to intensive mechanical and hydraulic shear, thereby ensuring high product quality.
